What is Bungee?

Bungee is a high intensity and low impact workout that incorporates cardio, dance, low flying fun, and a lot of bouncing. If you’ve ever dreamed of flying through the air with the greatest of ease, bungee might just be your new favorite apparatus and you can do it at our studio right here in Austin, TX!

Try out this unique workout that is so exhilarating and joy-inducing that it’s easy to forget you’re working out. Bungee fitness is a fun aerobic workout for everyone regardless of your fitness level.

Our Bungee Fit class (now “Bungee Dance”) was voted the Best Exercise Class by the Austin Chronicle’s 2022 Reader’s Poll.

You may have also recently seen bungee fitness have its moment on Saturday Night Live.

About Our Bungee Classes

No Experience Necessary

Every is welcome to join any of our Intro to Bungee or Bungee Bounce classes. There is no minimum fitness requirement to get started with a bungee class with us. If you would like to take Bungee Dance, you must take at least one other bungee class first to get yourself familiarized with the equipment since it is a longer, faster paced class.

Size Inclusive

Our program is size inclusive and we can accommodate students with waists from 24” - 64” with our array of harness sizes. There is no upper weight limit to joining any of our bungee classes, but we do have a lower weight limit of 85 lbs. due to equipment limitations.

What to Wear

We recommend wearing leggings or close-fitting pants/shorts (biking shorts are great) and full-bottomed underwear that will stay in place and keep things where you want them. Some people prefer wearing two layers for extra cushioning (such as biking shorts with pants over or under).

What to Bring

Be sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout class. We’ll be doing cardio, so expect to be sweaty! Some students also like bringing a sweat towel.

Class Options

We offer a variety of different bungee classes at Sky Candy for students of all experience levels.

For new students (or students who prefer a slower paced class), we recommend trying out Intro to Bungee.

For experienced students looking to learn choreography and incorporate bungee skills into longer sequences, check out Bungee Dance.

For experienced students looking for more challenging skills and variations, check out Bungee Bounce (available in Morning, Lunchtime and Happy Hour flavors).

Acrobatically inclined students are welcome to join Bungee Acrobatics, a series class class that is an exciting exploration of handstands and tumbling skills with a progression of skills throughout the 10 Week Series!
